Kacy M. Thompson (Gray) is a Nevada and California licensed attorney with a decade of experience representing clients in complex civil, commercial, and business-related matters. After spending much of her career in insurance defense and helping build and operate a successful law firm in San Diego, California, Kacy founded Kacy Gray Law to create a practice rooted in the Las Vegas community and focused on providing practical, strategic counsel to businesses and individuals.

Kacy's practice is expanding beyond traditional litigation to focus on the legal needs businesses encounter every day. Her work includes contract review, drafting and negotiation, business counseling, outside general counsel support, risk management, dispute resolution, and guidance on the legal issues that arise as businesses operate and grow. She particularly enjoys working directly with business owners and decision-makers to understand their goals and provide legal advice that is both practical and commercially minded.

Her approach is shaped by more than her experience as an attorney. As a former law firm owner, Kacy understands firsthand the realities of running a business—including managing employees, negotiating agreements, developing client relationships, evaluating risk, and making decisions where legal and business considerations often overlap. Her extensive litigation background also gives her a valuable perspective when reviewing contracts and advising clients: she has seen what happens when agreements, business relationships, and disputes do not go as planned.

After building her career in insurance defense, Kacy made the decision to step away from her prior firm and establish Kacy Gray Law, allowing her to broaden her practice. Kacy and her husband have called Las Vegas home together for nine years, and creating a firm that serves the community where they have built their life was an important part of that decision.

Kacy earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from California Western School of Law, where she served as Editor in Chief of the California Western International Law Review. She earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA.
